The Galaxy J3 supports LTE bands 1/2/3/4/5/7/12, which is a standard configuration for AT & T phones. The network performance in downtown Manhattan was average, and I tested the device there. I saw 12.5Mbps downloads and 2Mbps uploads, which is consistent with other AT & T devices we have tested in this area, including the LG G5.
J3’s call quality was mixed. The volume of the headphones is very high, and the indoor transmission is clear, with few jumping or popping sounds. But outdoor sounds sound harsh and mechanical. The noise cancellation is pretty good, with some slight wind noise and crackling making it through.
J3 has Bluetooth, but no dual-band Wi-Fi or NFC.
