How to Recover Deleted or Lost iPhone Data from iCloud Backup

How to restore your iPhone from iCloud backup? (Common Practice)

1. On your iOS device, go to Settings > General > Software Update. If a newer version of iOS is available, follow the onscreen instructions to download and install it.
2. Make sure you have a recent backup to restore from.
On your iOS 8 device: Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage > Manage Storage, then tap a device listed under Backups to see the date and size of its latest backup.
On your iOS 7 device: Go to Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage Storage, then tap a device listed under Backups to see the date and size of its latest backup.
3. Go to Settings > General > Reset, then tap “Erase all content and settings”.
4. In the Setup Assistant, proceed to “Set up your device”, tap Restore from a Backup, then sign in to iCloud.
5. Proceed to “Choose backup”, then choose from a list of available backups in iCloud.

If you restore your iPhone with the above way, you may lose some new data which added after creating the iCloud backup, unless your iCloud backup new enough. Tutorial: Recover Deleted or Lost iPhone Data from Extracted iCloud Backup

Step 1. Launch the program and choose a recovery mode

After installing the program, launch it on your computer, and switch to “Recover from iCloud Backup Files” on the top of the primary interface. Then you can see the window as the picture below.

Step 2. Sign in your iCloud account and download a backup file to scan

Enter your Apple ID and password in the textbox to login your iCloud account. Then the program will automatically scan and show you all the previous backup files from your account. Choose the one to download it to your computer. After that, click on “Scan” button to let the program extract data from the downloaded iCloud backup.

Step 3. Preview and recover previous data as you like
